The Shi Dresses at TMC - HOT OR NOT?!!

Hi guys!

Well here's the update and pics of THE DRESS! As you know from the last post I was appointed official designer to the beautiful and talented radio presenter and entrepreneur Neecie Gold for her debut of hosting (LIVE!) this year's Top Model of Colour (TMC) competition.

Not only did she out shine her co-host for the evening and dazzled the audience with her charm but she also effortlessly and elegantly rocked two of my designs for the whole night...

Neecie walked out in Hera and delivered the first half of the show, introducing the male and female models who were competing to be crowned TMC 2010. The first half included swim wear, day wear and a special dance choreography where the models had to show the audience and judges what they were working with!

The Second half approached fast, involving a quick change with Neecie and I backstage and a clever solution to hiding the radio that Neecie had to wear to hear important instructions from the TMC founder himself, Sola Oyebade...(I won't divulge were we hid it!lol).

It was show time and the second half commenced and Neecie walked out in her second Shi Dolor outfit for the evening...

Neecie looked stunning in the dress and walked on the runway to applause from the audience (maybe more for Neecie than the dress!lol). All in all it was a fab night, well organised, full of fantastic people and positive energy. A great experience for me and one I wouldn't hesitate to be apart of again... Shi Dolor Interviewed by Boss Style

Hey guys! I was recently interviewed by the dynamic and lovely ladies Elle and Neecie, founders and directors of Boss Style - an online blog dedicated to all things in style in the fashion, entertainment and music world.

It was my first ever print interview!! As you do the nerves kick in... and I started thinking to myself this is different!! I've done video/ TV interviews before but it's generally on the spot and short, so what could I possibly have to say that would interest anyone?! So as the fear was talking I started writing anyway!lol.

My fave question out of the interview was Were there any significant set-backs or breakthroughs that you have experienced since you started?... As a luxury dress designer or entrepreneur your faced with a lot! Shi Dolor... Official Dress Designer for Top Model of Colour Hostess

Hey guys! A lot of people ask me what I'm up to from time to time... So here's my way of keeping people up to date by starting my blog!

As my first official post I thought it's only right to do it on something that is very current and imminent, in fact so imminent that it's happening in the next 36 hours! On Saturday I will be backstage at the Top Model of Colour (TMC) grand finale fulfilling my duty as official dress designer to the host... So really what that means is that everyone in the audience and watching on Fashion's Finest TV will have no choice but to see my dresses on the beautiful and talented Neecie Gold for the WHOLE NIGHT!!...not bad ay?

Ms. Gold will be rocking two of my designs from my new collection the 'Eyes of Hera', one of which has never been seen before. As it's a glamorous event the designs had to match, right?...well I'll let you guys be the judge of how glamorous the dress is and whether I've done you proud...but obviously you'd have to wait until Saturday to see what the dresses look like on Neecie or wait until I post some pics up on here!lol
